I dropped my vehicle off because the passenger door panel was falling apart. This was my third time back since the first time the part had to be ordered. The second time I had an appointment and after hours of my car being there, the service dept called to tell me that they had sent the part back. After dropping my car off for a third time, I went out to the street to wait for my boyfriend to pick me up. As my boyfriend and I were driving away, we noticed that the service rep, Zak, was driving my car off the lot. He proceeded to speed in my vehicle while talking on a cell phone, which is when he then pulled into the In-N-Out drive thru line. My boyfriend got out of the car to confront him at the driver window. He tried to drive away after he noticed us fly into the drive way behind him, but there was a car blocking him, so he couldn't get out. We told him to meet us at the dealership, which is when his supposed manager, John Hammond, came out to see us and defend Zak. I say supposed because he was unprofessional and acted like we were crazy that we were upset. He said that since Zak hadn't ordered food yet he was not doing anything wrong and that he was just test driving the vehicle. The first time I brought my car we test drove it and he assured me nothing was wrong with the car and the door panel just needed to be replaced. After John kept getting tangled in his words and lies, I walked away, which is when Zak offered to do something to make "it right." I told him I wanted a car detail. He asked if I could come back in the morning to pick it up. When I came back in the morning the car had only been washed...there was cigarette ash on the dash. Why did I need to go a whole day without my car when they did not even detail it? After I saw the condition my car was in I let Zak know I would definitely be filing a report on the BBB. It's just too bad because if he would have honored what he said he was going to do, this whole thing would have been dropped.
