RUN, DO NOT WALK FROM THIS COMPANY. This IS the only review you need to read. It has taken me some time to get this published but due to illness I have not been able to unpack all the cartons. Well....as we open them each has broken porceline/glass. They just threw things into the cartons. We were first quoted several thousand dollars less than the local, national carrier that we have used in the past with great success. What a mistake to use G&G. The person in charge the day of loading refused to pack several thousand dollars of liquids and the like. They could have been safely packed as in the moves(even the guy that was also working says that the guy we got was the only one in the company that was rediculous and cost us money leaving items behind). As I said...we have moved 26 prior times and this was without question the WORST move. When we got to our destination they hired a fat, smoking girl that would not pick up anything and would walk up and down the block talking on her phone. Another reason why we were late in unloading. They hire samll local people that work for minimal wages and not professionals. I am so mad I could spit...as the expression goes. Run, do NOT walk away from them. They even quoted me a lower price ahead of time and eventually it cost me MORE than ever before(remember 26 moves). The have this game of letting you decide how to decide the cost of your items...they always win. Get a National casrrier with a name you can trust. NOT these guys. The receptionist is very nice but it still left us late, broken dishes, etc., and much over the budget. DO NOT USE THEM. Good luck to all. Moving is traumatic at best without having a mover that you watch rip you off.
