Never, I repeat, NEVER use this company to move you. I move myself from Atlanta, to Texas and not one thing I packed was broken. However, when I moved back to Georgia, I hired the "professionals" at Compass Van Lines to move me with two months free storage. I got my stuff (what was left of it) on 12-1-2010. This company couldn't have done a worse job if they tried. Perfectly new, good boxes, when I left Texas had been CRUSHED, sides split open and and someone had taped the circumference of the boxes to hold them together. The contents of the boxes were crushed. Glass items were actually in chards they were crushed so badly.
My brand new bed headboard was split, scratched and broken. I don't believe they stored my stuff. In my opinion it looks like they left in the truck and piled other things on top of it. 4 boxes are gone altogether, with no explanation as to where they are.
The driver (none of this his fault) said this is the last time he will drive for them. This is not the first time he has had someone in tears due to the complete NEGLIGENCE on this company.
I could spit nails I'm so MAD!!!!
I took pictures and wish I could post them here. I actually cried about half way through the unloading process.
Oh, and they wouldn't even open the door to the Van until they had cash in hand. Now I know why because if I'd seen the messed they had made of my possessions I wouldn't have paid them a DIME!!!
