Worst Customer Service Ever!
|
First, let me say I enjoy the Sawdust Festival as a whole..............I did have a really bad experience with one of the vendors. Catherine Reade Designs.
I purchased a cuff for my husband and bracelet for myself. She did not have the bracelet in my size so she said she would make me one and send it to me within 2-3 weeks. When my husband contacted her at the 3 week mark she said she had just finished the festival and was busy setting up her shop again. Nothing about 'sorry for the delay........you'll have it [insert date]'. Nothing. Skip ahead another 2 weeks and now I'm calling her. And not happy. You cannot tell me she didn't have any stock for the remaining 3 weeks of the festival. And, then you'd think that if you promised something within a certain time period and then that person contacts you, that you might want to make getting them their product a priority. Nah........let's not get crazy! That would be good customer service. We don't want to do that!
So, after complaining to the Sawdust Festival itself Catherine has agreed to give me my money back. Although she did tell me that she doesn't have to as she has a no return/exchange policy. I told her that since I don't have the product her policy is moot as far as I'm concerned. I then asked when I would get my money back -- she was quick enough to take it, of course - and she told me she didn't know. Excuse me? You don't know? How about now? When I asked her when she would mail it out she said tomorrow. I also told her she might want to work on her customer service skills and her response was 'I have excellent customer service skills'.......I almost laughed in her face. I started to say something else and she hung up on me.
Needless to say I would never recommend her to anyone. Her whole attitude was 'so what'..............and these bracelets were not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination.
