Best Moving Service should change its name to Worst Moving Service.
Scheduled appointment was between 1:00-2:00. Called at 3:15 and was told they were running behind and needed to reschedule to 4:00. We were guaranteed that they would complete the move that day. We called again at 4:15 and were told they could not make it that afternoon because a truck broke down. However, if we wanted to pay for a truck rental they could show up in a couple hours. When we objected Mark Lynn hung up on us.
I called back to insist he honor the contract and Mark replied, “What are you going to do? Sue me? Go ahead, I’ve been sued before. In fact, I should sue you!!”
Mark eventually called another company to move us, but they didn’t show until 6:45 and cost an extra $180. In trying to resolve this with Mark I offered to forget the extra cost if he would just apologize for his unprofessional behavior. He refused and said that if I continued to insist on reimbursement he would sue me. (Exactly what he would sue me for I’m still not certain.)
If you are moving you’d do better picking up some guys outside of Home Depot than using Best Moving Service.
