I received a call a few hours ago. They're wanting to deliver a complete three bedroom house at 8pm tonight (a Sunday night) or charge an additional $350 for delivering tomorrow. How late do you think they'll be unpacking& putting furniture together? We were quoted $4,100 by Eco Van Lines & who brokered this delivery out to All USA Vanlines without our knowledge & without a license to broker (or even operate) per the FMSCA (licensing entity for interstate moving). Instead of the $4100, we were told it would be $9000($!) to deliver. They requested half of the amount be made to The Movers Group (whose business license revoked prior to the move by the FMSCA for refusal of an audit & they are also not licensed to broker) and the other half would be cash on delivery. Then they said they normally get tipped by customers & typically they receive 10%. 10% of $9000!?!?! A $900 tip!?!?! Once you call, beware. People do not identify themselves & the professionalism you would typically find of a large company is just not there. Couldn't get anyone on a Sunday either to discuss this of course. All USA vanlines deals with shady people. Watch out for this and other companies whose positive reviews are all around the same time period.
